Curtis Lewis & Associates was founded in 1986 by Curtis J. Lewis. The Firm is located in downtown Washington, D.C. at 733 15th Street, NW, one half block from the White House. Our location permits convenient access to the many Federal Government agencies the firm represents. Since 1989, the firm has been multi lingual. It has language capability in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Creole and sign language.

Curtis Lewis & Associates is a general practice law firm with a primary focus on labor and employment law. The firm represents individuals, corporations, local and federal government agencies, trade associations, churches, non-profit corporations, foundations and other institutional clients. For these clients, the firm provides arbitration, mediation, litigation, investigations, training and counseling. In addition, we provide an array of services in Education Law which are offered to organizations that provide services to schools and school districts. The firm also has a contracting division in which we contract with public and private sector clients to provide various services in the area of workplace discrimination under law.

Curtis Lewis & Associates established CLA Labor & Employment Law Institute (CLA) to consolidate the various EEO and human resource training functions of the firm. Management, supervisor and employee training have become an integral component of normal business operations. Workplace planning not only facilitates efficient operation, by mandate of judicial case law, it limits risk exposure. CLA offers a comprehensive range of training services relating to equal employment opportunity, affirmative employment, civil rights, diversity management, human resources management and development, unfair labor practices, collective bargaining, dispute and conflict resolution and mediation. Our objective is to provide preventive techniques to assist our clients in satisfying their operational, administrative and regulatory requirements.
